Abstract

Die Islamische Republik Pakistan ist durch die Ratifizierung des Internationalen Pakts über bürgerliche und politische Rechte (IPbpR) eine völkerrechtliche
Selbstverpflichtung eingegangen. Sie verstößt gegen Artikel 18, Absatz 1, 1. HS IPbpR dadurch,
– dass sie ihre Staatsbürger zur Preisgabe ihrer Religionszugehörigkeit und eines Wechsels derselben in Personalausweisen und den Personenstandsregistern zwingt,
– dass sie ihre muslimischen Staatsbürger hindert, eine Religion oder eine Weltanschauung eigener Wahl anzunehmen.
gegen Artikel 18, Absatz 1, 2. HS IPbpR dadurch,
– dass sie Religionsgemeinschaften keinen Rechtsstatus verleiht, der ihnen die Möglichkeit geben würde, sich in der zur Erfüllung ihrer Aufgaben erforderlichen Weise zu organisieren...
