Abstract

Fazit: Artikel 18 (1) IPbpR: Jedermann hat das Recht auf Gedanken-, Gewissens- und Religionsfreiheit. Dieses Recht umfasst die Freiheit, eine Religion oder eine Weltanschauung eigener Wahl zu haben oder anzunehmen.
Die Arabische Republik Ägypten verstößt gegen diese von ihr akzeptierte Vorgabe dadurch,

– dass sie ihre Staatsbürger zur Preisgabe ihrer Religionszugehörigkeit in Personalausweisen und den Personenstandsregistern zwingt,
– dass sie ihre muslimischen Staatsbürger hindert, eine Religion oder eine Weltanschauung eigener Wahl anzunehmen
Dieses Recht umfasst auch die Freiheit, seine Religion oder Weltanschauung allein oder in Gemeinschaft mit anderen, öffentlich oder privat durch Gottesdienst, Beachtung religiöser Bräuche, Ausübung und Unterricht zu bekunden.
Die Arabische Republik Ägypten verstößt gegen diese von ihr akzeptierte Vorgabe dadurch

– dass sie bestimmten Religionsgemeinschaften keinen Rechtsstatus verleiht, der ihnen die Möglichkeit geben würde, sich in der zur Erfüllung ihrer Aufgaben erforderlichen Weise zu organisieren...
